Maria was born on 23 August 2004. She was adopted by the Spanish family of Antonia and Jose, who brought her home in November of 2008. Three months later, Maria shared:

“Now, that finally Maria is home with us, everything is different. Life now has meaning with her being part of it. She is a child that is making progress every single. She makes us feel blessed and her tenderness and generosity. She is a little mischievous pumpkin, who turned our life upside down and makes us go through feelings and emotions we never though we will go through. It is true that the adoption procedure was hard, but absolutely everything was worth because the reward is amazing, especially when she kisses and tells us:

“Mommy, I love you more!! And I tell her:

“No, I love you more!!” and she replies:
“Yes, because Maria is beautiful, the most beautiful princess”

I can spend hours writing about Maria…”

I see you … without looking at you
I feel you …without being next to you
My life and thoughts are filled by you
I imagine tour face so many times
and all the time you appear around me,
I see you smile, I see you cry,
I see you sleep and dream and
I dream of the day to come,
when I will hug you my little one
and will tell you with all my heart
that I already love you, even before I know you!
